stayed here with my dog and everything was excellent. the room was airy with excellent breakfast, comfy bed and nice large bath as described. there was plenty of savoury meals. enjoyed the location in a beautiful place.

Comfortable stay but some areas for improvement
Spent 2 nights in a cozy double room. The bed was comfy, and I appreciated the fridge with real milk for my morning coffee. The TV was disappointingly small, and dinner service could improve. A fan in the room would enhance comfort, especially in warmer months.

The fresh pasta at the restaurant was an absolute knockout! The portions were generous, and the staff were a right ol' bunch-super friendly and helpful. Plus, the location is a gem, perfect for exploring Petworth.
And a couple of threadbare carpets in the communal areas didn't do the place justice.

Comfortable room with excellent dining options
The double room was spacious with a comfortable bed and a huge bathroom with a lovely roll-top bath. The restaurant had excellent food, especially the charcuterie starter and mango sorbet, and the breakfast spread was good. The strawberries in my room were mouldy, which could use some improvement.
